Don C. Reser
Son of Mary Luella Clayton and Richard Stair Reser, two Texas families, he was born in December of 1950. Don grew up on Mulberry Street in the Monte Vista area of San Antonio and subsequently on Rockhill in the Oak Park area.
Don was an excellent student and was elected student council president of Alamo Heights High School in 1968 and graduated in 1969. He left Texas to attend Stanford University, where he received a degree in Economics and met Rebecca Jo Cooper. They are the parents of Rebecca Johanna and Jessica Starr. After college Don sought a combination M.B.A. degree and Law degree, which he received from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston respectively in 1976 and 1977.
He began work as briefing attorney for the Honorable John H. Wood, Jr. As many may remember from San Antonio history, Judge Wood was murdered in Alamo Heights. Subsequent court cases went on to show that Judge Wood’s death was related to the drug business in El Paso, Texas, part of Judge Wood’s jurisdiction. After these events, Don entered into a business practice. His practice focused on finance, business, and real estate. His love of real estate and serving others has continued to the present. Based upon his daughter’s interest in sports, Don became a volleyball referee in 2000, a passion he continues. Don added a real estate license to his law license and became a Realtor beginning in 2002. He enjoys working with people moving to San Antonio and helping people finding their way around San Antonio.
